Kivalov received a bribe of $21 million (U.S.) for Yanukovych's "victory"

The head of the [Ukrainian] Central Elections Committee, Serhiy Kivalov, received a bribe of $21,600,000 (U.S.) for proclaiming Viktor Yanukovych as President of Ukraine.
This amount was transferred to the account of his daughter's companies "Samara" and "Cactus" -- as reported by Member of Parliament Mykola Tomenko at a meeting supporting Viktor Yushchenko.
"Journalists should ask today of Kivalov, is this the cost of Ukraine's freedom," emphasized Tomenko.
