It looks like Kramatorsk journalists would like to be nominated for the Pulitzer Prize. Below is the “masterpiece” of one such “journalist."

By: Tatyana Karpekina, the journalist vying for the Pulitzer nomination
Heading: "In the Heart of the City Barbarians Have Killed 42 Birches with Orange Oil Paint "
"The newspaper is black and white. It’s a pity that we cannot by any means, dear readers, show you the complete barbarism. But take our word, it has really taken place on Shkadinova Street on the night of December 22-23 and has consequently shaken every normal citizen. We have learned about what happened from regular citizens of Kramatorsk who were rushing to work one morning. It is the first time in Kramatorsk that during the election campaign, something speechless and defenseless was involved in politics. Involved in the policy making were... birches, which were painted with an oil-based orange paint. 42 trees at once! As experts of municipal service "Ozelenitel" say, these unfortunate trees are probably doomed. The purchase of the thinnest young birch plant today costs at least 25 hryvnya [~$4]. What you see are the spoiled trees that peacefully grew for more than a decade.
Who is to blame for? And where the local police was watching? One can feel a bit of guilt in front the poet who once has written:
'... Till starve and cold,
till the death,
But these three birches
None should take off '.
Let's try to save anything sacred which yet hasn’t been taken from us. "
===============
On the left is a photo with two "unlucky" trees. Since the newspaper is black and white and the orange strips are only 15-20 cm in height (at a maximum!), they were marked with arrows, probably for the convenience of aged voters insight. That is a photo of two absolutely normal "adult" birches having one strip of orange color of 15-20 cm in height on their wood.
