Solidarnist Parliamentary Group Declares Support for Yulia Tymoshenko

Yesterday morning, January 27, parliamentary group Solidarnist (Solidarity) declared its support for Yulia Tymoshenko after the consultations with its leader.
Earlier it was said that Solidarnist would decide about its support for Tymoshenko’s candidacy for prime minister at the group’s session on Monday, January 31.

Prior to this, MP Skomarovsky declared that 18 Solidarnist representatives would not vote for Tymoshenko, as they felt that Solidarnist leader Petro Poroshenko would make a much more suitable candidate.

In addition to Skomarovsky and Poroshenko, the Solidarnist group includes MPs Yuriy Artemenko, Vasyl Bartkiv, Oksana Bilozir, Vladyslav Atroshenko, Eduard Goorvits, Pavlo Zhebrivsky, Oleg Zimin, Yuriy Karmazin, Viktor Korol, Volodymyr Makeyenko, Volodymyr Plutynsky, Mykola Sokyrko and others.
