Yulia Tymoshenko Officially Nominated As Candidate for Prime Minister

President Viktor Yushchenko has officially submitted Yulia Tymoshenko’s candidacy for the prime minister post for approval by the Verkhovna Rada (parliament).

The matter of Tymoshenko’s appointment to head of the government will most likely be considered by the parliament next Tuesday or Thursday.
