Verkhovna Rada's Sitting Closed: Tymoshenko's Nomination Not Considered Today

Verkhovna Rada's (parliamen's) evening sitting was closed because "the president was not ready". The vote on Tymoshenko's nomination for prime minister was delayed.

According to sources close to the Our Ukraine bloc, the reason for this "unreadiness" is the alleged failure to come to an agreement with O. Moroz. The Socialists are not satisfied with the positions of deputy prime minister (Y. Vinskyj), head of the fund of state property (V. Semenyuk) and chairman of the state committee of communications (Y. Lutsenko), demanding the position of first deputy prime minister.
