Parliamentary Commision on Gongadze and Aleksandrov cases encourages Kuchma to
resign, and obliges the General Prosecutor's office to institute
criminal proceedings against Kuchma, as well as V.Lytvyn, Yu.Kravchenko,
L.Derkach as accomplices of Georgiy Gongadze's abduction.

During a UNIAN press-conference on Tuesday, Head of the Temporary
Parliamentary Committee of inquiry on G.Gongadze's and I.Aleksandrov's murder
circumstances, Grygoryj Omelchenko claims that there is sufficient amount of
proof material to start criminal proceeding against the mentioned persons
doming from Ukraine's ruling top.

"There are enough proofs that point to the fact, that president Leonid Kuchma,
speaker Volodymyr Lytvyn, former minister of internal affairs Yurij Kravchenko
and member of parliament Leonid Derkach are accomplices of a crime, being the
organizers of abduction of Georgiy Gonganze, a journalist, whereas the crime
has been commited by organized group with prior collusion. This is the
conclusion that the mentioned Commision came to on the 2nd of September, says
G.Omelchenko.

Derkach and Kuchma are also considered by the Commision to be involved in
an attack against Oleksandr Yelyashkevych, a member of ukrainian parlament.

The commision encourages the speaker, Volodymyr Lytvyn, to resign as well.
