Paul Celan Fellowships for Translators (Austria)
The program supports East-West, West-East and East-East translations of classical texts and
contemporary key works in the HUMANITIES and SOCIAL
SCIENCES as well as in the field of CULTURAL STUDIES.
University of Maastricht Scholarships (the Netherlands)
Maastricht University aims at continuously improving its quality as a global institution. The UM Scholarship Programme enables UM to live up to this ambition, as it is intended to stimulate talented non-EEA students to pursue master's programmes in Maastricht. Within this framework, UM offers three different scholarship programmes
International Fellowships at the World Forest (USA)
The World Forest Institute Fellowship Program brings forestry and natural resources professionals from around the world to work at the World Forest Institute for 6 to 12 months. Fellows conduct an independent research project developed in conjunction with his/her sponsor.
Projects are typically either policy or marketing studies, and may be environmental, social or economic in focus. Activities involve information gathering through interviews, meeting with forestry organisations, and taking organised field trips. Fellows typically summarise their projects in a report and poster published by the WFI. A large component of the program involves traveling and visiting with professionals in the Pacific Northwest forest sector.

IAPSS Going Green: "Confronting Energy and Climate Change Policies" (Slovenia)
This is the topic of the conference that will take place in Ljubljana, Slovenia from 26th to 30th May 2008. It is going to be a great possibility to discuss recent energy and climate change issues, to get to know students and professionals from the same field of interest and of course to get to know Ljubljana, the beautifull capital of Slovenia. The conference will include lectures, working group presentations, individual paper presentations, case study, a roundtable and a short video competition.
"New forms of human rights and civic engagement in the 21st century" - Spring School (Bulgaria)
"New forms of human rights and civic engagement in the 21st century". The school takes place in Sofia, Bulgaria between May 9th - May 12th, 2008 and will be followed by an ESSA General Assembly on May 13th. 5 lecturers, coming from Bulgaria, Slovenia, Holland and Germany, will, each in their own workshop and from their own standpoint, address the issues concerning the theme.
Украјнсько-польсько-німецький форум (Poland)
Під час того, коли співпраця між Сходом і Заходом в сфері економіки поступово ущільнюється, суспільний і громадянський потенціал цього позитивного явища далі не використовується. Щоб уявнити ініціативи, які існували та існують до цього часу, і послати імпульс тристоронньому обміну украјнським, польським і німецьким організаціям, від 7 до 10 травня 2008 року у Варшаві відбудеться Украјнсько-Польсько-Німецкий Форум «Роль громадянського суспільства в майбутньому Європи».

Ще трохи від Фулбрайта
Відкриті конкурси за Програмою академічних обмінів імені ФулбрайтаЗ 2007 року до конкурсних галузей спеціалізації, окрім гуманітарних та соціальних наук, включено також точні, технічні та природничі дисципліни.
Конкурси:
Fulbright Graduate Student Program: навчання в університетах Сполучених Штатів Америки від одного до двох років для здобуття ступеня мॳстра. У конкурсі можуть брати участь студенти старших (4-6-х курсів), випускники українських вищих навчальних закладів, аспіранти та молоді спеціалісти.
Fulbright Faculty Development Program: дослідницька програма для молодих викладачів та науковців, журналістів, фахівців з бібліотечної, музейної, архівної справи та спеціалістів у галузі управління культури. У конкурсі можуть брати участь науковці та спеціалісти з дворічним професійним досвідом, віком до 35 років, які ще не мають наукового ступеня, та молоді кандидати наук (не пізніше 3-х років після захисту).
З 2007 року до конкурсних галузей спеціалізації, окрім гуманітарних та соціальних наук, включено також точні, технічні та природничі дисципліни: астрономія, аеронавтика, біологія, біомедична інженерія, геологія, екологія, енергетика, інженерні дисципліни, комп'ютерні науки та інформаційні технології, матеріалознавство, математика, когнітивні науки/нейронауки, океанографія, фізика, хімія.
Зацікавлені отримати американську освіту у галузі точних та природничих наук можуть взяти участь ще в одному конкурсі, який з 2006 року відкрито для України:
International Fulbright Science and Technology Ph.D. Award: навчання у провідних американських університетах на рівні аспірантури протягом трьох років з правом захисту наукового ступеня PhD. У 2007 році цю стипендію Державного Департаменту США отримали 40 молодих науковців з різних країн світу, в тому числі й учасник з України.
Документи на конкурси приймають до 16 травня 2008 року
Навчання або стажування розпочнеться у серпні-вересні 2009 року
