For Stability in Ukraine
February 2, 2001
To the Editor:
Re "A Grisly Mystery in Ukraine Leads to a Government Crisis" (front page, Jan. 30):
I hope and pray that the Ukrainian people have enough wisdom and resolve first to find and bring to justice those responsible for the disappearance of the journalist Georgy Gongadze, no matter how high positions they hold. And second, to keep the country stable, and proceed with the initiated reforms as planned. This would be good for Ukraine, for Europe and for the entire world.
