KYIV. May 29 (Interfax-Ukraine) - Viktor Yushchenko, leader of the faction Our Ukraine, said he does not seek the position of prime minister.
"My key burden now is to ensure the balance of political institutions in Ukraine," Yushchenko told a news conference in Kyiv on Wednesday.
Yushchenko said that, as a parliamentarian, he will "insist on a transparent balance of power."
"The highest honor" for representatives of Our Ukraine now is "to work for the cause for which they came into parliament."
Yushchenko also said he is confident that Ukraine will see the "automatic resignation of the government" after the parliamentary elections, and the political coalition in parliament will form the cabinet.
