Special Note About Requiem-2002

Dear All,
Two days are left to the meeting-requiem in Washington, DC, which is the first event of such magnitude organized in the US capital by young Ukrainians. If you are in or close to DC, please come and participate in commemorating Georgiy Gongadze on September 15 and picketing Ukrainian Embassy on September 16.
If you are in or close to Chicago, New York, Brussels, Paris, London, Prague, Lisbon, Budapest - please come to the pickets and commemorative events there on September 16 (see http://www.gongadze.org/join.ukr.htm).
If you are too far to come - just light a candle or say a prayer for Georgiy and other fallen journalists and politicians on September 16.
We would like to sincerely thank everyone who contributed to organizing the event and thus made it possible. Your support was exceptional. We hope you will have a feel of the people and the environment behind the event. In any case, hope you will enjoy it.
