Protesters Rally in Front of CEC

Around 5-6 thousand protesters gathered late on November 5 in front of the Central Election Commission (CEC).
The protesters moved to the CEC from the Tbilisi Municipality after it became evident that the pro-presidential bloc For New Georgia secures the first place in the November 2 parliamentary elections, as the CEC counted more than one-third of votes.
“I will not let anyone to rig our votes,” Mikheil Saakashvili, the Chairman of Tbilisi City Council and the leader of National Movement opposition party said, while addressing crowd in front of the CEC.
