п. Дайн відвідає Харків в п"ятницю, 24-го серпня і виступить з промовою "Роль свободи слова в демократичному суспільстві". Виступ відбудеться в 10:30 ранку, готель "Харків", площа Свободи, 7. Після виступу - прес-конференція.

WASHINGTON - With Ukraine's presidential elections fast approaching -
and in the midst of Ukraine's complex media situation-the Global Fairness Initiative and IREX (International Research and Exchanges Board) are pleased to announce Tom Dine, President of Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty (RFE/RL), Prague, Czech Republic, as their next guest for their Ukraine Speakers Bureau.
Mr. Dine will be visiting Kharkiv on Friday, September 24th and speaking on "The Role of Free Speech in a Democracy". The event begins at 10:30 AM at the Hotel Kharkiv (Ploscha Svobody 7). We invite you to come and participate. A press conference and reception will follow.
RFE/RL broadcasts every day to 19 countries across Central and South-
eastern Europe, Eurasia, and Southwest Asia, seeking to promote and
build democracy. In Ukraine, Radio Free Europe and Radio Liberty were
taken off the air in February 2004. (END)
