  The numbers on the official CVC site do not add up. If you sum up all the votes given for Yuschenko and those given for Yanukovych and divide them by the number of total election votes, the percents are the following:
  
  Yushchenko 39.1 %
  
  Yanukovych 40.063%,
  
  And the numbers reported are 39.15% vs 40.12%
  
  If the numbers of votes are extrapolated to the 100% count in each oblast, then the result is:
  
  Yuschenko 10,981,019 votes (41.856%)
  Yanukovych 10,962,057 votes (41.784%)
  
  
  Thus Yuschenko wins with 0.072%
  
  However, this table is missing the results of the voters abroad, where as it is well known Yuschenko is winning 2x. If those numbers can be added up to the calculation, the advantage should be even higher. However, the numbers reported by CVC do not show this trend. On the contrary, Janukovych is leading by 1,000 votes. However, even if these votes are added, the numbers are still wrong!
  
  
  Yanukovych 40.77%
  Yuschenko 39.11%
  
  And with the extrapolation, Yuschenko still wins by 0.068%
