Сьогодні українці Техасу провели демонстрацію у м.Кроуфорд (Техас) на підтримку вільних й демократичних виборів президента України. В демонстрації прийняли участь близько 80 чоловік із міст Хюстон, Остін, Даллас, Форт Ворс і Колледж Стейшн. Було підписано звернення, в якому українці Техасу подякували адміністрації президента Сполучених Штатів за невизнання результатів сфальсифікованих виборів, а також попросили й надалі вимагати проведення чесних й демократичних виборів президента України. Нагадаємо, що в м.Кроуфорд знаходиться ранчо пана Буша і за вдалим збігом обставин пан президент разом з членами сім'ї саме в цей час обідав у ресторані на площі де проводилася демонстрація. Біля ресторану були присутні представники преси, які одним з перших запитань попросили пана президента прокоментувати останні події в Україні. Ukrainian Americans from Houston, Dallas, Fort Worth & Austin are uniting to show our support for DEMOCRACY & FAIR ELECTIONS in UKRAINE. During this wonderful American Holiday of Thanksgiving we are uniting and gathering at the Peace House in Crawford to let the world know that Ukrainians around the globe demand DEMOCRATIC & FAIR ELECTIONS IN UKRAINE. We are calling on President Bush and all leaders of the free world to continue to demand DEMOCRACY for UKRAINE. We accept VIKTOR YUSHCHENKO as the new Ukrainian President. We do not recognize Putin's puppet Yanukovych as the President of Ukraine. The Ukrainian Supreme Court does not accept the results. The will of the peopl of Ukraine must be respected. Russia has no right what so ever to be involved in Ukraine's presidential election politics.

The United States has always stood and fought for DEMOCRACY throughout the world. That is why many of us are United States citizens. Presently, America is the leader in the fight for DEMOCRACY in Iraq. The President's plan which established DEMOCRACY in Afghanistan is proof that all people deserve DEMOCRACY.

We, the Ukrainian Americans of Texas are asking President Bush and his cabinet to continue to demand DEMOCRACY and FAIR ELECTIONS in UKRAINE. We sincerely thank President Bush and Secretary of State Colin Powell for their statements regarding their disapproval of the fraudulent Ukrainian Election results. Please help us show our brothers & sisters in Ukraine that the United States will continue to demand DEMOCRACY and FAIR ELECTIONS in UKRAINE.
