  Знайшов у своїх архівах, з 2002-го року. Один Йосеф "Йосі" Майман офіційний переговорщик Туркменистану, і "бувший член Моссад". Чи може не туди заведуть сліди власників РУЕ?
  
  In any case, all of Ukraine's energy deals with Turkmenistan
  are negotiated with the Israeli Yosef "Yossi" A. Maiman,
  who is the point man and "official negotiator and policy maker
  responsible for developing the energy resources of
  Turkmenistan". Maiman was made a citizen of Turkmenistan
  by presidential decree, and serves as the "right-hand man"
  for President Niyazov, a former Politburo member of the
  Central Committee of the Communist Party of the USSR.
  Maiman is a "former" Mossad agent according to the
  Washington Report on Middle East Affairs. Maiman is
  also the president of the Merhav Group of Israel, which
  dominates foreign business in Turkmenistan.
  
  Maiman's Merhav Group was a key investor in the $1.2 billion
  Midor refinery in Egypt, but recently sold out to the Egyptian
  government because of the intifada. The Merhav Group has
  invested about $1.65 billion in Turkmenistan's economy. The
  Merhav Groups consists of about 32 key companies based
  in South and Central America, the Middle East and Eastern
  Europe. For example, it has been operating in Venezuela
  since 1990 where it has a $200 million water purification
  project and a $200 million natural gas pipeline project under
  development. In Dec 2001, Merhav "purchased a 58 percent
  majority stake in the Nasdaq-listed technology holding company
  American Israel Corp. from diamond traders Raz and Daniel
  Steinmentz for $90 million." (The Steinmentz family is among
  the largest diamond traders in the world with operations in
  Israel, Belgium and New York). The Merhav Group is privately
  owned.
  
  Today, Afghanistan is critical to Turkmenistan's plans for pipelines
  destined for Pakistan and the ocean (and on to Japan, China, etc).
  Since the USA/Israel are preventing Turkmenistan using a shorter
  route across Iran. Afghanistan was the subject of the "Great Game"
  played in the 19th century between the Russian Empire and the
  British Empire. Josef Maiman told The Wall Street Journal that
  presently, "This is the Great Game all over," when describing his
  personal role in assisting Israel and the American Empire and the
  "geopolitical goals of both the U.S. and Israel" in Central Asia.

    Synopsis: President Saparmurat Niyazov met on August 5 with Josef Maiman, president of Israeli company Merhav. Niyazov and Maiman discussed the possibilities for further collaboration in the oil industry, specifically the reconstruction of the Sadinsky oil refinery in eastern Turkmenistan. Merhav had previously completed the modernization of the Turkmenbasy oil refinery on the shore of the Caspian Sea.

    Last week Raiffeisen Investment circulated a press release within the framework of rehabilitating the image of RosUkrEnergo. In it the company says that the basis for RosUkrEnergo's work rests on three agreements:
    
    The first is between Gazprom and Turkmenistan on all Turkmen gas being purchased by the Russian company beginning from 1 January 2007. Second is one between RosUkrEnergo and the Gazprom subsidiary Gazeksport, which will resell Turkmen gas to RosUkrEnergo with a two per cent commission.
    
    And the third is one on setting up an international consortium which, as has been announced, will be engaged in rebuilding existing gas pipelines and building new ones in order to increase the strength of the Central Asia-Centre pipeline system.
