Today, Ukrainians from all over New York, NEw Jersey, Massachusetts and Connecticut met in New York City by the United Nations Building. Everywhere you look, the only color you see is ORANGE! And All you hear is Yushchenko! Yushchenko! Just as we all assembled the American news stations NY1 and CBS2 came and stayed for most of the performances, speeches and declarations to the United Nations and Americans. "RUSSIA OUT OF UKRAINE", "DEMOCRACY FOR UKRAINE", "USA SUPPORT UKRAINE", and "PUTIN IS A TERRORIST" were just some of the chants that sounded through the streets of New York today.

I left Ukraine at the age of 7 with my parents, now 10 years later, I am preparing to apply to colleges here. But if i was abroad, most likely i would be joining all of you at the Maidan. It is their fault that Ukrainians are scattered around the world and are unable to live in their rightful country! My heart and prayers are with you all, may God grant you the health and strength to change our countries destiny.
