Cooperation with NATO as a State Security Enhancer

April 14, 2021 we continued to discuss the different aspects of national security in time of hybrid war. This time we focused on the NATO – Ukraine Cooperation.

BLOCK 1. “7 Years of Russian Aggression: Developments in Ukraine and worldwide”.
– Changes in the perception of NATO in Ukraine
– Russia-NATO relations
– the threat of further Russian aggression

BLOCK 2. “Threats of a Non-Conventional Nature”
– new security threats to NATO countries and Ukraine
– Article 5: is an unconventional attack on one NATO member an attack on all, and what the answer could be? ( f.e. 2007 cyberattacks on Estonia)
– NATO decision-making unanimity in the time of cyberattacks and disinformation

BLOCK 3. “Future of Ukraine-NATO Cooperation”
– challenges for Ukraine to join NATO
– is the existence of uncontrolled and occupied territories an obstacle for joining NATO?
– the mutual benefits of cooperation
