Russia destroyed the only school in the village of Slatine

On July 23, 2022, the Russians once again shelled Kharkiv villages with artillery. It happened, in particular, to the village of Slatine of the Dergachiv community. As a result of the shelling, high-rise buildings, several private houses, and local farms were damaged. The local secondary school was also destroyed. As a result of the attack, part of the facade collapsed, and the walls and roof of the building were significantly damaged. Windows were broken by the explosion, classrooms and offices were mutilated.

This is the only school in the village. Children from several nearby villages also studied there. Slatine was located in the gray zone from February 24 to April 23, 2022. The Russians repeatedly bombarded the village with rockets, as well as fired mortars and multiple rocket launchers.
